Fight Club (1999) {asked by breeonfire}
Welcome to Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club! Third rule of Fight Club: if someone yells “stop!”, goes limp, or taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: the fights are bare knuckle. No shirt, no shoes, no weapons. Seventh rule: fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.
This style reminds me so much of this old lj user i used to follow, indy. Wonder if she ever made her way to tumblr. hmmm.

i didnt know there was a book. i unfortunately did not watch the movie until last year which i feel stupid about, but i love the movie because of how i can relate to the characters
Give the book a go. It’s amazing. An easy read, too. & watch Fight Club as often as you can. It goes deeper than you think. I see something new every time.
nice, mine's "you've met me at a very bad time of my life" because thats so true lol
Have you read the book? That scene wasn’t in the book, but Chuck P has been said that he likes the movie ending better.
whats your favorite fight club quote
Very hard to choose. It changes all of the time for me. Every part of that movie holds meaning to me. I’ve seen it over 100 times.
Either ’You cry now’ from the beginning with Bob. Because I think in a strange way that was our narrator’s first ‘enema’ towards freedom.
The one I say most is ‘This is your life and it’s ending one minute at a time’ But that could be in part due to my fatal brain condition & that. A bit obsessed with time lately.
Or I always come up with “In the world I see…”
“We should do this again some time.”
OR I use “I consider this asshole tax.” too.
See I keep thinking of more!
