You’ve read the books. You’ve seen the movies. You’ve seen the other movie. Now get ready to experience The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo in yet another medium: A graphic novel version is coming out in November.

Here’s an exclusive first look at the upcoming book. How do you like Lisbeth’s new look?

“There’s no doubt that this racoon-makeup, her war paint, was something that was semi-inspired by Blade Runner. But, I wanted it to look like a mask that she could just take, you know, some grease paint on her black gloves and just smeared into her eyes and go, ‘Okay. I’m ready now. I’m hidden enough. I can respond now in a way that I always wanted to respond.’ ” -David Fincher, TGWTDT commentary

Loved this moment.  Loved how it meant nothing to him but everything to her & it was all silent and you knew it though

“You look nice”

This gif well explains one of the many reasons I loved Fincher’s version vs. the original.  Fincher didn’t make a hardcore punk rock pissed off chick.  He made Lisbeth.  A punk rock hardcore chick who’s also a 23 year old girl who’s never been in love & feels it for the first time amidst these fucked up circumstances.
